Obituary of Kimberly T. Locigno
Kimberly passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 65.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Bernice Thran; her father-in-law, James S. Locigno Jr.; her special aunt, Mary Bisuito; and her beloved dog, Pepper. She is survived by her devoted husband, James Henry Locigno; her children, Bobby (Brandon Russell) Foote and Dr. Courtney (Brian Stachura) Foote Stachura; her sisters, Debra and Lynne; her mother-in-law, Rosemary Locigno; her sister-in-law, Michelle (Robert) Farney; her godchildren, Kayla, Lydia, and Logan Farney; her special uncle, Charles Bisuito; and many cherished friends.
Born in Webster, New York, on August 27, 1960, Kimberly was the second of three sisters. She grew up with a love for animals and a strong work ethic that would define her throughout her life.
Kimberly embodied strength and grace. She faced life’s challenges with courage and determination, always protecting and providing for her children. Later in life, she pursued higher education, earning her bachelor’s degree in business from Empire State College—a personal triumph that inspired her children to follow their own academic and professional dreams. She was deeply proud to see them become a podiatrist and an electrical engineer.
Family was the heart of Kimberly’s world. She was angelic in spirit, a guiding light to all who knew her. To her children, she was “supermom”—endlessly devoted, present, and loving. To her husband James, she was a steadfast partner, sharing a marriage built on loyalty, compassion, and unshakable love.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: playing pickleball, taking long walks with her dog Pepper, watching movies together as a family, sharing delicious meals, and baking pies that everyone looked forward to. These everyday joys reflected her warmth and the way she cherished quality time spent with the people she loved most.
Her bravery through illness was an inspiration; she met each day with dignity, courage, and resilience. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, her warmth, and the unwavering love she poured into her family.
Her love and light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
