Born June 19, 1940 - September 9, 2025

Rosie passed away at the age of 85.  She is survived by her brother Frank (Kim)Gitro, Sr. Sister Elaine Gitro, Nephew Frank(Scott McKay) Gitro Jr., Niece VIckie (Philip)Vignare, Great Nephew and Great Niece Anthony and Kristen Vignare, Brother Russell Pecoraro, Sister Betty (Jim) Cusimano, many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Rose worked at General Dynamics and retired from the Town of Irondequoit where she worked for 20 years.  

She was known for her hair, make up, jewelry, and sense of humor. She loved spending time with her family and caring for those around her. To know Roise was to love her.  

A graveside service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will be held on Friday September 19th at 1:pm, followed by a celebration of life to remember her at New Covenant Fellowship 1350 Five MIle Line Road, Penfield NY 14526 from 3pm - 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Penfield Place Nursing Home or Rochester Regional Hospice Program.
