Obituary of Norberto Burgado
Norberto Burgado
Rochester, NY – Norberto Burgado, age 64, was unexpectedly called to be with God on September 4, 2025.
Born and raised in Rochester, Norberto was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Ana; sons Junior (Christina), Mikey (Jennifer), and Joey; grandchildren Nathan, Mariah, Nico, Antonio, and Santana; and great-grandson Oliver. He is also survived by his mother Irene and siblings Wilfredo (Delores Rodriguez), Nilda (Girban) Ortiz, Israel, Olga, and Daniel along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Roberto, and brother Ismael.
Norberto worked for 27 years as a courier with Unity Hospital, where he was cherished by many coworkers and friends. Outside of work, his passions were many—cars, football- especially the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, gardening, grilling, and playing dominos. He loved walking in nature, dancing, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Always upbeat and optimistic, Norberto’s smile, jokes, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Calling will be held on Thursday, September 11, at 1:00 PM, Service following at 3:00 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N Goodman St, Rochester, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Norberto’s memory to Mt. Carmel House Hospice at www.mtcarmelhouserochester.org.
Norberto be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
