Obituary of Mauro Buzzelli

Age 90. Passed away peacefully Friday August 29, 2025 at St. Ann's Care Center in Webster, NY. Born March 4th, 1935 in Niagara Falls, NY, Buzz was the son of the late John and Frances Buzzelli. Predeceased by his wife, Angela (Ranalli) Buzzelli, Buzz is survived by his four children: John Buzzelli (Sue); Michele Bessette (Mitch); Marybeth DeRoller (Mark); and Mark Buzzelli (CJ); his seven grandchildren, Meghan (Steve) Burnett, Andrew (Elizabeth) Pendergast and Rachael Bessette, Jenna and Eric DeRoller, and Brett and Jay Buzzelli; his great-grandchildren Charlotte and Nolan Burnett; and his sister Marcia Buzzelli.

A 35-year devoted employee of Xerox where Buzz forged lifelong friendships until his passing that were only matched by those with his childhood friends of Niagara Falls, NY with whom Buzz continued to meet every month for breakfast over the past three decades.

A great friend to many, Buzz was always ready with an infectious smile and warm greeting. Only wishing to make you laugh and hear more about your life than tell you of his own. 

Buzz was a man of deep and devout faith who spent much of the free time of his retirement in the service of others.

Please join the family on Friday 9/5/25 at 10:30 AM for his Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Road, Webster. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the St. Ann's Foundation (1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621). Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery.
