Obituary of Victor Antonetti
Obituary for Victor Antonetti Sr.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Antonetti Sr., who left us peacefully at his home on August 22, 2025, at the age of 77.
Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, Victor’s roots instilled in him a lifelong passion for music, carpentry, and fishing. He was especially proud of his Orchestra, which brought joy to countless people and stood as a testament to his love for music and culture.
Victor is predeceased by his father, Luis Antonetti, and his sister, Reina Antonetti. He is survived by his devoted mother, America Antonetti; his cherished children, Victor Jr., Jose (Tito), Tanya, Daniel, Jennifer, and Jose (Cheo); his beloved siblings, Maria M., Juan F., Bienvenida, Maria L., Elsie, David, and Ines; his loving girlfriend, Agueda; as well as his adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, nieces, and nephews—each of whom he was extremely proud.
Victor will be remembered for his infectious smile, his devotion to family, and his legendary ability to motivate and teach. His presence left a lasting mark on all who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire generations to come.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 864 E. Main Street, Rochester, NY 14605, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Victor’s life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
