Obituary of Vito Anthony Calzone Jr.
Vito Anthony Calzone Jr. was born on July 26, 1954 in Rochester, New York, to Vito and Mary Calzone.
Vito Jr. followed in his fathers footsteps as an established businessman in Rochester, as the owner/operator of Clinton Printing Co., and Intertype Graphics Inc. He was passionate about his friends and interests, and an avid billiards player and softball athlete. Vito retired to Clearwater, Florida, and was proud of his Italian heritage: he was a member of the executive board and a Trustee for the Order of the Sons & Daughters of Italy, Central Gulf Coast Lodge, helping to provide scholarships for deserving students of Italian descent.
Vito Jr. died on July 26, 2025, and is survived by his sister Andrea Young (Dennis), and brothers Thomas (Lydia St. Hilaire) and Steven (Nancy), along with his Aunt Theresa Cicotte, his nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends old and new.
A dedication mass to celebrate Vito’s life will be held at Life of Christ Catholic Church, 2176 Marilyn St, Clearwater, FL 33765, at 11:30am ET on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609, on September 23, 2025 at 11:00am ET. Interment to follow the service, where he will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1133 Mt. Hope Ave, Rochester, NY 14620.
Donations can be made to the Order of the Sons & Daughters of Italy, Central Gulf Coast Lodge, 912 Belted Kingfisher Dr. S., Palm Harbor, FL 34683.
