It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Joan Soucy, who left us peacefully on July 24, 2025 at the age of 84.

Born on February 16, 1941 in Ontario, Canada. She lived a life full of love, kindness, and grace. She was the heart of our family, a woman whose gentle spirit and unwavering strength guided us through life’s joys and challenges.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ronald and step-grandson, Jack. Survived by her children, Irene (Russ) Impellizzeri, Brenda Spoleta, Richard Dube; son-in-law, David Spoleta; step-children, Michael, Maurice, Mark (Lisa), Michelle, Marty (Vickie); grandchildren, Nicole (Matt) Cutaia, David (Caitlin) Spoleta, Ashley (David) Arduin, Jonathan (Mariah) Spoleta, Tyler (Jessica) Impellizzeri; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Mom was the constant source of warmth and wisdom in our lives who found joy in the simple things like the laughter of her children and grandchildren. She taught us the value of compassion, patience, and resilience, not through words alone, but by the way she lived each day. She found a love in all sports, especially hockey and the Buffalo Bills.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Joan’s name to the Lipson Cancer Institute through Rochester Regional Health.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 10am-12pm at Falvo Funeral Home at 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. (Rte. 250), Webster, NY with Funeral Service directly following at Falvo’s. Entombment to follow at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY.
