Obituary of Willadean Echevarria

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Willadean "Dean" Echevarria, who departed this life peacefully on July 13, 2025, at the age of 86.

Predeceased by her Parents, Herbert and Ava Brown; Brother in-law, Franklin Knapp.

She is survived by her loving husband, Isaac Echevarria, sons, Isaac Keith and Travis Scott Echevarria. Grandchildren, Marissa, Ariya, and Angelina Echevarria. Daughter In Law, Wendy La Cara, Siblings, Martha Knapp, Lelda Will, Herbert (Janie) Brown, and James (Tina) Brown; Godson, Michael (Kat) Driscoll; Also, many nieces, nephews and friends. Who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Though she may be gone from our sight, she will never be absent from our lives.

Born with a spirited heart and a kind soul, Dean was a source of warmth and wisdom to all who knew her. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she lived her life with grace, resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her strength was quiet but unshakable, and her presence brought comfort and joy to every room she entered.

Dean had a special way of making everyone feel seen and cherished. Whether through a warm embrace, a shared story over coffee, or her gentle sense of humor, she touched lives in meaningful, lasting ways. She will be remembered not only for her kindness but also for her courage, her faith, and the legacy of love she leaves behind.

A service to celebrate Dean’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 29 at 4pm at Webster Presbyterian Church 550 Webster, Rd. Webster, NY 14580. A celebration of life will follow the service on Tuesday at 5:30 at Shadow Lake Golf Club and Restaurant at 5:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to The Hildebrandt Hospice Center.

Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
