We are very saddened to hear of Phyllis passing. Being a friend with Dave as young boys, there are so many many fond memories growing up, and then growing older, with Dave and the family. Our deepest sympathy to all the family, and our hopes that all your warm and loving memories of Phyllis will bring you comfort and peace.

Living in Georgia all my life our family would make the trip to Rochester, New York every summer and we would always have dinner at Aunt Phyllis house, she was a remarkable cook, I would sit in the kitchen and watch her prepare her famous scallops potatoes, and she would always have the best desserts! After dinner we would watch old family films on 8MM - the one I love was her wedding! I saw my grandparents, uncles and Aunts so very young and happy. Aunt Phyllis was a beautiful bride, and her husband Sam adore her. Thank you Aunt Phyllis for one of many happy memories of visiting New York.

I’m saddened to hear of Aunt Phyllis passing. I have fond memories of her and Uncle Sam taking vacations with us when I was a kid to Toronto and Atlanta. She will be missed.

I met Mrs. Casanzio as a young boy who attended elementary school with her son David.I spent considerable and memorable time at the Casanzios on Turpin St. off Portland Ave. Over the years David and I became good friends and we spent many memorable times with him and his wife. Unfortunately distance has caused separation since we relocated out of state. Jackie and I are very saddened to hear of Mrs. C’s passing. I will remember her fondly
