
Obituary of Rubie Levins
Rubie Kay Levins, 87, of Batavia, NY, passed away peacefully on 6/24/25 in Pittsford, NY at her daughter’s home under hospice care.
A celebration of Rubie’s life will be held privately by the family.
Rubie lived a full and vibrant life. Known for her ability to help others and her sense of humor, she loved spending time with friends and family. Her favorites in life included shopping, golfing, gardening, baking, cards, mahjong, travel, cheering on her grandson Steven, and the Buffalo Bills. She was a hard working, kind, and loving woman who always gave of herself.
She graciously served the public for 25 years as Batavia’s Town Clerk. Throughout this time she participated in various volunteer and charity events, giving all a wonderful showcase of her compassion and love for her community.
Rubie had a lasting impact on many lives and will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Josephine Weiler, loving husband Marvin Levins, inlaws Richard Hillman, and Paul Levins. Survived by loving daughters, Susan (Bill) Anderson, Michelle (Brian) DiFiore, and grandson Steven DiFiore. Siblings Ronald (Sandra) Weiler & Jean (Kevin) Ayers. In-laws Cynthia Hillman, James Levins, Rick (Lyra) Levins, and numerous cousins, nieces & nephews, dear friends & great neighbors.
