Obituary of Carol Foley

Carol Ann (Linendoll) Foley, 84, of Rochester, New York passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025.

A private burial will take place at Acacia Park Cemetery in North Tonawanda, New York on August 2nd, 2025.

Carol was born in Snyder, New York to Mildred (Weiser) and William Linendoll on April 1, 1941. She went to high school at Amherst Central and graduated in 1959. Carol went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from D’Youville University. She retired as Director of Nursing Psychiatry from Kaleida Health in 2001.

Carol enjoyed time on the lake, watching the Yankees, and playing bridge.

Carol is survived by her children: David Foley of Buffalo, Kathy Foley-Barry (Brian) of Orlando, Kelly Foley-Masters (Steven) of Penfield, and Kerrie Foley-Koch (Joseph) of Nashville, grandchildren: Shea (Foley) Viola (Alex) of Penfield, Quinn Foley of Buffalo, Ian Masters of Boston, Aubrey Masters of Washington D.C., Keegan Foley of East Aurora, Cullen Masters of Pittsburgh, and Brett Barry of Fort Myers, great grandchildren: Easton and McKenzie Viola of Penfield. Carol is preceded in death by her father William Linendoll, mother Mildred (Weiser) Linendoll, sister Doris (Linendoll) Shearer, and niece Susan Shearer.

Memorial donations may be made in Carol’s name to Operation Freedom Ride, a nonprofit animal rescue, 2117 Buffalo Road #172 Rochester, New York 14624. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Ann’s Community.
