Obituary of Kimberly Anne Todd
Kimberly Anne Todd
April 24, 1959 – June 14, 2025
Kimberly Anne Todd, a devoted mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, at the age of 66.
Born in Rochester, NY, and a proud graduate of Fairport High School, Kim later made her home in Augusta, GA, where she grew into the woman we all cherished. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of deep love, lasting friendships, and an extraordinary gift for bringing people together.
Kim believed a home should reflect the soul of its keeper - a place filled with stories, memories, and meaningful treasures collected over time. She poured her heart into making every space warm & inviting, thoughtfully choosing furniture, art, and keepsakes that captured her journey. Every item had a story. Every gift was personal. Nothing was without significance.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, honoring her family, and creating experiences where others felt safe, and celebrated. She was a master hostess who turned ordinary nights into unforgettable ones, filling her home with the rich smells of home-cooked meals, the sounds of good music, and the laughter of those she held close.
Kim is survived by her beloved father, John R. “Peter” Jones, with whom she spoke daily; her four children, Vanessa Sue Tando Brunson, Jamie Todd Greenwood (Jay), Alfred Colby Todd (Sara), and Garrett Russell Todd; and nine grandchildren she adored—Zoe, Ava, Maci, Madi, Max, John, Emma, Charlie, and sweet baby Lilly. She is reunited in eternal peace with her mother, Sue Anne Cassan Jones, and her brother, Peter Russell “PR” Jones.
She is lovingly remembered by her cousins & her three most loyal lifelong friends, her “sisters” - Sarah, Sandy, and Jennifer. Those lucky enough to know Kim were touched by her warmth & generosity, her eye for beauty, and her unmatched ability to create connections across generations & distance. Her legacy lives on in the traditions she upheld, the love she shared, and the lives she brightened.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her hometown of Rochester, NY, on Saturday, July 12, at Shadow Lake Golf & Racquet Club – The Garden Tent. The gathering begins at 2:00 PM, with a reception to follow. Country Club Casual attire is welcome. All are invited to come together, share stories & rememberances of her life.
In lieu of flowers, her children ask that you honor her memory by opening your heart & your home to those you love - just as she always did.
