Obituary of David W. Aleksandrowicz

Rochester, NY- David Aleksandrowicz passed away on June 17th, 2025, surrounded by love at age 61. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marina and their son Gregory Aleksandrowicz, both of whom were steadfast in their care of Dave during his long and difficult battle with cancer. He also leaves son Nicholas (Laura) and two grandchildren, sister Jane Aleksandrowicz, in-laws John and Angelina Murdevski, sister-in-law Suzanna Amalfi, and many nieces and nephews to mourn his loss.

He was predeceased by his father Walter and mother Theresa Aleksandrowicz, sisters Linda, Ellen, Donna, and Diane.

Dave was a true patriot, and an inspiration to many. A marathon runner, he was equally comfortable hunting in the woods, baking pies in the kitchen, flipping hamburgers behind a grill, and planting and tending a garden. He was unusually gifted with the ability to conceptualize and build anything and everything. A true Renaissance Man.

A proud Mason, Dave embodied the integrity and moral code that are fundamental Masonic values. As the CIO of GRYT Health, Dave’s work positively impacted both cancer patients and the caregiver community.

“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.”

Please join the family from 4-7pm on Thursday, June 19 at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, Webster. All are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church on Friday, June 20 at 10:30am.
