Obituary of Joseph Pellegrino

Webster. Born 2/4/1927 in Gioia Tauro, Italy. Entered peacefully into rest on June 4, 2025.

Predeceased by his son Rocco J. "Rocky", his parents Rocco and Carmela Pellegrino, his brothers Vincenzo, Salvatore, Antonio, Natale, Sister Rosina D'Agostino.

Survived by the love of his life, beloved wife, Helen "Lina", his son Robert A. "Bob" Pellegrino, beloved grandson Francis R. "Frankie" Pellegrino, also many cousins, nephews, nieces and relatives in the USA and Italy.

Joe, immigrated from Italy in January, 1948, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict, worked for 12 years at Hickey Freeman, s. He loved gardening, Italian and classical music, and fine arts, but most of all enjoyed his Family and a very close circle of friends.

Joe was a retired Postal Service Supervisor of 32 years.

Calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Nine Mile Point Road, Webster, NY 14580, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 2:00pm-5:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Rita’s Church, 1008 Maple Drive, Webster, NY 14580, on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 10:30am. Entombment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph’s name to the Golisano Children Hospital.
