Obituary of Armand Nino Cocozza

ROCHESTER- Armand "Nino" Cocozza, 94, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

 

Nino was born in Paris, France on December 10, 1930 to the late Edoardo and Giovanna Cocozza. 

 

Nino is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Deborah (Debbie), his children Nino (Michelle Crandall)Cocozza, Joseph (Sarah Casciola) Cocozza, grandchildren Daria, Joseph, Olivia Cocozza, great grandchildren Mila and Mya Waldron, his brother Luciano (Marcelle) Cocozza, his niece, Lynda Cocozza, all of Paris, France, Brothers-in-law Joseph Mastrantonio (Heather Buck), Michael Tyra (Meredith Saylor).  Sisters-in-law Brenda Dougan (Ray Pugh), Tracey Tyra, Kelly Tyra Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Devoted friend Karen Arnold, and his very compassionate, dedicated, and caring physician, Dr. Charlene Vitale Conners. 

 

He is predeceased by brother Ernesto (Gaetane) Cocozza

 

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at  Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 9:30am. 

 

In lieu of flowers donations my be made in Nino’s name The American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
