Obituary of Peter Albert Lloyd

In Loving Memory of Peter Albert Lloyd

May 24, 1960 – May 25, 2025

Peter Albert Lloyd passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, just one day after his 65th birthday, leaving behind a legacy woven with faith, music, and the quiet power of presence. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Judy, and their sons—Jeremy (Nina), Jared (Amy), Justin (Samantha), and Michael each of whom carries forward his rhythm, his values, and his deep sense of wonder. Grandchildren, Braxton, Brynlee, and Nellie; Siblings, Polly (Don) Granger, Andy (Marcia) Lloyd, Chris (Charles) Carson, Megan (Randy) Jones, Bill (Kay) Lloyd, and Jim (Lisa) Lloyd; Also, many nieces, nephews, coworkers, and friends.

Peter’s life always carried a beat. Whether it pulsed through the smooth jazz riffs of George Benson or drifted through the cosmic chords of Pink Floyd, there was always music in his spirit. It wasn’t just what he listened to, it was how he moved through the world, with soul, with sensitivity, and with an ear tuned to life’s deeper harmonies.

Guided by his Christian faith, Peter lived a life of conviction and compassion. His devotion was not confined to Sunday mornings—it was daily, lived, breathed, and practiced. Lunchtimes became sacred, set apart for Bible study and reflection. His faith was not only personal, but also quietly persuasive—so much so that he once inspired a Buddhist friend to embrace the Christian path. Peter’s belief wasn’t loud or boastful, but steady, enduring, and alive until his final breath.

To know Peter was to witness a man who saw the divine in the details: a brook babbling over stones, a tree bending in the wind, a flower unfolding toward the light. Nature spoke to him—and through him. His memory now echoes in those same places, in every quiet corner of the world where beauty lives and grace abides.

He leaves behind not only a family who loves him deeply, but a world made softer and richer by his presence. His was a life lived in tune with love, faith, and gentle strength.

May his soul, faithful and steadfast, find eternal rest—and may his song play on in the hearts of all who knew him.
