Obituary of Ronald David Wille

PENFIELD- Ronald David Wille Sr, 80, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family. 

Ronald Wille was born in Rochester, NY, on February 26, 1945, to the late Alphonse and Marie Wille. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Wille, and his former wife, Sandra (Grabowski) Wille.

Ron is survived by his three children: Patty (Mike) Petrillo and their two children, Mike Petrillo and Marissa (John) Leone; Ron (Liz) Wille Jr. and their two children, Delaney and Sammy; and Kerry (Elizabeth) Wille. He also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Emma Leone.

Ron loved his family and friends. He was an avid golfer who occasionally took a mulligan or two but was always quick to offer a gimme. He cherished playing poker with “the boys” and valued his friendships at “the joint.” Ron also had a deep affection for his Wegmans family. Having spent 42 years working for the grocery chain, he formed deep and lasting connections, as evidenced by the outpouring of love and support.
