Obituary of Carmella Ann Buchiere

ROCHESTER- Carmella Ann Buchiere, 87, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family. 

Carmella was born in Rochester, NY on August 7, 1937 to the late Joseph and Angelina DiPerri.

 Carmella ( Carmie ) graduated from East High School in 1955, where they highlighted her beautiful art by having her design the cover and all of the artwork in her senior yearbook. She made many friends in high school that would last a lifetime.

Carmella married the love of her life, Louis (Louie) on August 13th, 1955. She raised two children, Mark and Michele while working full time to build a career in the banking industry. Carmella retired from M&T Bank in 1999 to begin the next chapter in her life. Carmella filled her retirement years loving and living for her husband, family, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She loved  music, art, entertaining, travel, the beach, fine dining and her favorite sport ...shopping ! She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She loved animals and was an avid animal rights supporter.  was a loving cat Mom to "Kevin" She, who joined the family after Mommie served him pasta on the patio.

She is survived by her children Mark (Tina), Michele (Ginger), grandchildren Sara, Jessica , Melissa (Alex) and great granddaughter Zoe.

She is predeceased by her husband Louis A. Buchiere and her parents Joseph and Angelina DiPerri.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Crimson Ridge Memory care for their kind , loving and compassionate care that was given during the last two months of her life. 

Carmie and Louie were absolutely devoted to one another and inseperable for the 70 years they shared. They are now together, to never again be apart.

Calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14609, on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, with a service to immediately follow.
