Sending so much love to the Wood family. Dan’s wife, Leisja, was my dance teacher for the longest time and I remember him coming into the studio often to help with props or chat with other parents. I remember him as an incredibly supportive dad who would’ve done anything for his family. Rest in peace Dan

Dan was the man that made Dance years doable he always had a joke , or helped me make sense of things when they really didn't make sense at all Dan was the guy who didn't mind me speaking my mind. Dan always checked in with me to see if I was comfortable. I had the privilege to work with Dan at Frontier Communications and then again at Globalinx.
Dan was always a true professional and more importantly a good human being....a good man.
Dan never spoke a bad word about anyone at anytime ever. At the same time he was universally liked and admired.
I know while we lost one of the best of us, heaven has gained something greater.

Heartfelt condolences to your family. I did not expect to see this. We worked together at Tops in the early 90's. You were working in "bottles" redemption and had such a personality. As first jobs go, it wasn't the best so when Navy recruiters came doing a background check, it was at that moment in my life I realized I could either help or hinder. I was only 7 years older than you and in my first supervisory role. Like all of us, you liked to wander and play and I was learning how to be a manager. When I was asked if I thought you were a candidate for the Navy and why, my answer was "yes, he would benefit from the descipline and the Navy would benefit from his talent". Never been prouder of someone as I was of your success and in also using my insight to uplift those around me.
I was friends with your father. Losing him was a blow and now, seeing this makes my heart hurt even more. Gone too soon but remembered with love, both of you.
