In Loving Memory of Jack Simms
FAIRPORT – Jack Simms passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Shirley. Jack is survived by his loving partner, Norma Stiles; his children, Debbie Anello, Scott (Barb) Simms, Laura Devine, and Kellie (Michael) McManus; his grandchildren, AJ Anello, Tony (Samantha) Anello, Andy (Tonya) Anello, Sabrina Simms, Danielle (Richard) Sroka, Brittanie (Alex) Brunette, Thomas Devine, Emmie Thompson, Morgan McManus, and Sean McManus; and 10 great-grandchildren. Jack proudly served as a photographer in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1961. His artistic talents extended beyond his military service, as he had a lifelong passion for art and photography. Most of Jacks professional years were spent working as a graphic artist for Corbo Copy center in East Rochester. After retirement, Jack found joy in his grandchildren, exploring garage sales, collecting Kodak cameras and embarking on spontaneous adventures with his lifelong best friend, Jim Barton.
A devoted father and grandfather, Jack was known for his quick wit and the ability to share a joke in any situation. His humor and warmth brought smiles to friends, family, and even strangers who needed a lift.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 25, from 4–7 PM, with a service on Saturday at 10 AM, both at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd., Webster, NY 14580. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
