Patricia R. Allinger
Passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, at age 90. Predeceased by her husband, Richard Allinger; Daughters, Renee Allinger and Laurie Allinger. Survived by loving sons, Stephen (Sue Kushner) Allinger and Daniel (Stacey) Allinger; Grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Theresa, Michael, Justin, Erin, Ryan and Ryleigh; 9 great-grandchildren; Sister, Margaret “Peggy” Lazarz; and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was the small-town girl who became a woman who preferred city life and prospered in that life. She returned to college and earned her associate's degree as an adult when it was less common for mature women to do so. She assisted in the success of her husband's business by finding her fellow Rochesterians gainful employment.
Pat had the tenacity to stand up to anyone and was more than a match for any medical doctor. In this regard, she advocated for herself and her loved ones. She pursued perfection, knowing that nobody was perfect. She believed in improving oneself through intellect or artistic expression. She loved to play the piano and sing and she did both beautifully. She loved to play cards, especially Rummy and loved walloping whoever was unwise enough to go up against her.
Pat had many passions in her life. She loved the outdoors, flowers, especially roses, lilacs, hydrangeas and dogwoods, and whatever beauty nature gave in color and scent. She was committed to climbing Mount Goodnow and made it to the top on every attempt.
Pat used wit and humor to entertain and cheer up her friends and family when dealing with adversity. She refused to let any tragedy swallow her or accept pity.
As time marched on and her children moved away or became busy with their own families, she would cherish those times when they would all gather during the holidays.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 15 from 1- 3pm with a service from 3-4 at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, N.Y. Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Patricia’s name to Camp Good Days and Special Times.
