Passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, with her loving family by her side, at age 99 and 8 months. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, James Falzone; Parents, Jennie and Joseph Julian; Brothers, Salvatore (Viola), Frank (Mary), Anthony (Nan), and John Julian; Brother and sisters-in-law, Cataldo (Fannie), Theresa (Charles), Nellie (James), Anthony (Jennie), Sarah (Carl) and Michael.
She is survived by her cherished children, Ross Falzone and Lucille Falzone (Russotti); Adored grandchildren, Kelly Russotti (Garrett Ingoglia), Justin (Alana) Russotti, Ryan Russotti, Brandon Russotti, Rosario Falzone (fiancé Rachel); She was blessed with three beautiful great-granddaughters, Jade, Samara and Leila; A loving sister-in-law, Barbara Julian; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many, many friends.
Florence Falzone was a woman who lived fiercely and loved unconditionally. She passed away just 4 months shy of turning 100 (a fact she relished with pride), living independently until she was 97. She was able to celebrate her 99th Birthday with 50 plus family and friends remembering her blessed long life. Born to Jennie and Joseph Julian and raised on Davis Street, she fondly recalled a childhood filled with love, laughter and community, and she carried that with her for the rest of her life. Florence showed up for the people she loved every day, whether you were her child, grandchild, great grandchild, family member, friend, or “someone from the old neighborhood”: by saying a novena, paying a visit, making a phone call, attending a recital or sports game, telling a joke, or by making food (for more than 50 people in her home at midnight after a family wedding, so the story goes). She was a caregiver, a woman of great faith, a prayer warrior and a fantastic dancer. She had several friends who will be missing her evening phone call checking in to see how they are doing. She will be forever missed but her legacy and love will live on in our hearts.
Please bring a written memory of Florence for the family memory book.
