Obituary of Bob Hazzard

Robert "Bob" Hazzard was born on January 17, 1947 in Rochester, New York, and passed away on February 20, 2025 in Rochester, New York.

 

Bob honorably served in the United States Army as a Specialist 4T, working in the armory from 1966 to 1968. He remained an active reserve until 1972 and was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Expert M14 Rifle Badge in recognition of his service. 

 

Bob will be remembered as a hardworking man with a goofy sense of humor and a heartwarming laugh. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with friends. An avid antique collector, he enjoyed buying and selling everything from jewelry to rare antiques. 

 

He is survived by his wife, Denise Hazzard; his ex-wife, Marlene Gravino; his children, Georgina (Doug) Hazzard, Brandon (Alyssa) Hazzard, Roxanne Hazzard, Erik (Kristen) Hazzard, Jennifer (Rodney) Hazzard, Frank (Kelly) Peri; his grandchildren, Brandon Jr., Colin, Kara, Ayla and Veda.

 

Bob is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Georgina Hazzard and sister, Ava Hazzard.

 

Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. 

 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February, 27, 2025 from 4-7pm at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. Rochester, NY 14609. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Bob's memory.
