Obituary of Peter Gary Piraino

It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Piraino announces his passing on February 19th at the age of 76.

Peter fought a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's with dignity and humor.

Peter is survived by his loving wife of 49 ½ years, Suzanne; two daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Smith and Christine (Brian) Goetz; seven grandchildren, Andrew Levy, Michael Levy, Madelyn Levy, Natalee Goetz, Emily Goetz, Carter Smith, and Claire Smith; brother, David (Debbie) Piraino; many nieces and cousins, including Carrie, Monica, Amy, Amanda.

Predeceased by his parents John & Veronica Piraino; revered brother, John Piraino; and niece, Kimberly Miller.

Peter loved golf and participated in many fundraisers over the years. Spending time with his grandchildren gave him much joy, especially after he retired and had more free time to be with them.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25 at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church (43 Gebhardt Rd. Penfield, NY 14526.) Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
