Joe will for ever be missed! He was one of a kind. We will continue to keep Donna and family in prayer. My husband and Joe were buddies. When we moved into the neighborhood they welcomed us into the family! I will miss our debates and Joe sharing his topics of research. Love The Marshmons

It’s been a few years since Joey and I were in touch, but we were together a lot growing up. We called his parents Uncle Joe and Aunt Betty. Our Dad’s were best friends since their late teens. Patty, Tom, Sharon and Joey would often come to our house or us to theirs. Joey was a great guy!!! I remember a great trip with our Dad’s going to Rich Stadium to see the Bills!! I wish I could have seen him more as adults. Patty, Tom, Sharon, I’m so sorry for your loss and pray God gives you peace and understanding.

Joe, so many great memories. Cousins are your first ever friends. We had such a great childhood being so close to all of our cousins. We laughed, fought, laughed some more. You’re gonna be missed big man. I’m so glad we spent time talking at my sisters party. We picked up as if it was 1975 all over again. I’m so sad Joe, but I know you’ll keep the light burning. Rest in Peace cuz. Randy

I have the honor of knowing Joe for 50 plus years. His passing has me reflecting back to the good old days.
This son of a policeman had an ironic bit of rebellious streak! As young teens, we shared our walks on the wild side. We came dangerously close, but always came up slightly short of being a couple of delinquent teenagers.
A few years into our friendship and as it worked out, my sister and Joe got married, becoming parents to my nephew, John. This fella that walked on the wild side at times, became a daddy that took fatherhood duties seriously and I respect him deeply for it!
The crazy times we used to enjoy was replaced with shooting pool in his dining room. His dining room was the first known “man cave”, well equipped with speakers as tall as I was. For hours, we spent time beating each other at eightball while he recited the lyrics to many non-mainstream songs, to this day Frank Zappa lyrics still roll through my head!
He brought passion to life and lived it his way, unabashed!
My sister and Joe’s marriage did not endure but my respect and love for Joe did!
Joe was a great father and eventually he was blessed to become a great husband to his second wife Donna. He will be missed by many and always remembered for being kindhearted, loving and a deeply passionate soul!
