Predeceased by his father Luis Antonio Avilas Sr., and his daughter, Jessica Avilas

Survived by his mother Gladys Roldan Contreras Avilas; Children, Ailleen Avilas, Jonathan Melendez, Marc Anthony Avilas, Jillian Rodriguez, Rebecca Avilas, Luis Avilas, and Samantha Avilas; his sister, Christine Avilas; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours Wednesday, January 15 from 4-7 PM, and a service on Thursday, January 16 at 10 AM will be both be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. Rochester, NY 14609.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
