Obituary of Peter P. Lilley

Peter Payette Lilley (Pete), 82, of Penfield, NY, passed away on 1/3/2025

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Catherine Lilley; father, John Lilley and mother, Jane Lilley.

Pete is survived by his wife, Linda Lilley (60 years of marriage), son Peter (Lisa) Lilley Jr., grandchildren Kelli (Trevor) Riley, Megyn Sperry, Peter Lilley III, Sophie Lilley and brothers John Lilley and Tom Lilley.

Pete was born in Flint Michigan to John and Jane Lilley on 12/12/1942. He went to high school in Grand Haven, MI and graduated in 1960. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Math & Physical Science from Michigan State University and a Masters of Arts degree in Operations Research from The American University. He worked for Hewlett-Packard and Compaq for 6 years, Digital Equipment for 18 years, Control Data for 11 years, Clark Equipment for 3 years and National Security Agency for 3 years. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and time at the Lake.

Funeral service will be held at Penfield United Methodist Church, (1795 Baird Rd, Penfield, NY) on Thursday 1/9/2025 at 10am.
