Machia, Joseph D., Sr.

Webster: May 12, 2017, after a long battle with Diabetes. Joe was 77 years old. Predeceased by his mother, Catherine Miller; his sister Shirley Charbonneau; brother, Bill Miller; granddaughter, Beth Legler; and sister-in-law Sandra Schaeffer. Joe is survived by Marlene Machia, loving and caring wife of 56 years; son, Joseph Jr. (Cindy) Machia; daughter, Sherry (Steve) Orcutt, grandsons Matthew, Connor & Dylan Orcutt; granddaughters, Stacey (Dave) Granito & Katie Legler; great-grandsons, Colby & Grayson Granito and Chase Lipson; sister, Carol (Gerald) Spinnichia; brothers-in-law, Serge Charbonneau & Roger Schaeffer; nieces, nephews and friends. 

Joe was the founder and owner of Webster Electric, Inc., past president of PCC, an avid golfer, fisherman, and classic car enthusiast. He enjoyed many weekends in the Thousand Islands. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marines and will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

Calling Wed., May 17 from 4 - 8 PM. Funeral Thursday, 10: 30 AM, both at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd., Webster (Rte.250). Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to American Diabetes Association  , PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312, or National Kidney Foundation  , 310 Packetts Landing, Fairport, NY 14450 in his memory. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
