Dear Cousin William, I was saddened to hear of Mary's passing. I still remember well when you both drove me to see Niagara Falls 40 years on that brief visit to see you. May Mary rest in peace.

Hi William I'm Mary's cousin Alice .She was only two years older than me but so much more mature and sophisticated. We always looked up to her and aspired tio be like her .No chance !When I lost my son she wrote the most beautiful letter..a professional writer could not have done any better.The world will be a worse place for her passing .I'm so sorry for your loss and that of your family .
I meet Mary In 1983 at the Webster bowling alley. We were teammates. That was the start of a long lasting Friendship. I introduced her to two of my other friends and we became a party trio. Having lunches out together and parties at each other’s houses. We were the party girls. I will miss you always but I have the memories and you will always be in my heart.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Mary at BOCES on the preschool evaluation team. She had such a wonderful sense of humor and was a great friend. I will miss her deeply!
I loved auntie Mary.
I will always remember her sitting in our kitchen reading the paper while there was madness all around her. She would look over the top of the paper and give us a smile and go back to reading. She had a great sense of humour and wasn't afraid to say things as they were, what a woman she was. She introduced me to ravelry and always encouraged crafts and I loved sending her things that I made. I was happy to have someone in the family to give me tips as my ma is brutal.
We never got to visit Mary in the States but the way she spoke about her friends and life there, she seemed to have a fulfilled and happy life.
Even though we didn't see Mary a lot over the years, we felt her close to us. We will all miss her very much and will always be remembered.

My first childhood memory ( I was three )was Mary's first day at school.Mammy took her there with me in tow .I cried all the way home in a state of disbelief that she had gone somewhere without me .I'm crying now that she has done the same .Love you now and always Mary .You're wee sister Una Xxx
