I met Dick LaGoy on my first day of work at Lawyer's Co-op in January 1958. From that day on, we were close friends, family and all. At just about the same time we went from Proofpress Operator to Linotype Operator at Lawyer's Co-op. We both worked nights and drove a Webster Schoolbus as a parttime job. Lawyer's Co-op was a family operated business and we on the night shift were all family. In October 1967, I left for the Government Printing Office in Washington, DC, and retired from there at the end of 2005. The whole nightshift was like a family. Good friends and good times. Dick was 3 weeks older than me. I would always let him know his was older than me. He will be missed. He has a wonderful family.
