My son Chris is married to Ron’s niece, Rachael. Early in their relationship, Chris told me what a cool uncle Rachael had — and he wasn’t wrong. One of my fondest memories of Ron was at their baby shower. While the ladies did their thing, the guys were sent off to play croquet and enjoy some beers. We all had a blast, and I got to experience Ron’s easygoing, fun-loving spirit firsthand. He truly was the definition of cool.

I worked with Ronnie for many years at Kodak. He was a great, kind soul. While there are many Kodak memories and stories. My most heartfelt memory of Ronnie was when my mom was at Rochester General Hospital for a stroke. I ran into him outside her room. he made sure my family had water and snacks during a trying moment. he was ALWAYS thinking of others. Truly a class act!

Diane and family, you have my deepest condolences on the loss of a great man. Ron was my neighborhood neighbor on Sherwood Ave many years ago. He was a little wild back then but as he grew he became a wonderful man. I loved him too and will miss him. He and his parents were very kind and loving. His Mother was kind of strict with him, though it seemed like he was his own person no matter what she tried to keep him in line. Ron was a lot like his Dad, Ernie. He had a genuine, caring, and loving side to him. My heart goes out to you all.
this is one of my all time favorite pictures of these two. we have so so many memories to hold close to our hearts of Ron! there were so many trips and adventures with the George’s and DePapes. Rest in peace Ronnie Ron! we love you and miss you so much already!
