Denise and I met Marilyn for the first time when she and my father visited us for Mardi Gras in New Orleans. We sailed up to New Orleans from Key West. We walked the streets of New Orleans enjoying the festivities. We all got beads given to us by the partiers……Marilyn was the highlight of our group as she had 3x as many beads as the rest of us….she was one energetic charismatic lady. No wonder my father liked her, as well as everyone else. Her sense of adventure was obvious. Denise and I found an Absinthe bar and being a painter, I had to try it. I called my father who was a couple of blocks over and told him to come over and try this….he was hesitant (resistant) so I asked him to put Marilyn on. I explained the situation to her…..her response – where are you, we’ll be right over. They came over, and she proceeded to drink 2 shots with us. We had a grand time!! Marilyn was wonderful for my father….she made him very happy in life. She will be missed. Denise and Frank on the Here and Now
