Leinberg, John G.

Penfield, NY: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 12, 2017 at age 89.  Predeceased by his brother Wolfgang.  He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Astrida; sons Eric (Margaret) and Gunnar (Cindy); grandchildren Emilie, Allison, Olivia, and Aiden. 

Born in Riga, Latvia, emigrated to the US carrying nothing but a suitcase, met the love of his life, and built a great life for his family.  A selfless, humble, and caring husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed greatly.  We love you Pop-Pop!

Calling hours Friday 4-7pm at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt Rd (Rte 250), Webster, NY.  Interment ceremony and service at Riverside Cemetery on Saturday at 1:30pm.  Meet at main gate at 1:15pm. 

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association in John’s name.
