Batz, James C.

Irondequoit/Brighton: Passed away peacefully on June 16, 2017. One month shy of his 90th Birthday. Survived by his loving wife, Anna (Ventura); daughters, Linda (Kenneth Jr.) Kuhn, Patricia (Richard) Gasbarre; granddaughters, Kristin Kuhn, Bethany (Jason) Randazzo, Michelle (Sean) Miller and Kari Kuhn and his great-grandchildren, Anthony and Leah Randazzo, Matthew Reeners and Nicholas Miller; also survived by special cousin, Janice (Cas) Stanchus and family; sister-in-law, Sharon Ventura; cousins, nieces, nephews and their family and many friends. Jim was a member and Past Commissioner of Laurelton Fire Dept., former Adjutant and member of Warner Claudius Post #1013, a WW II Army Veteran. Longtime Parshioner of St. Ambrose Church and a retiree of Eastman Kodak.

Jim's family would like to thank all of his aids from HCR for their loving and compassionate care.

Calling hours Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 4-8PM at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. (Route 250) Webster. His Funeral Mass will be held Thursday 10:30AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose Church. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
