Obituary of Bertha J. Keenan (Nagle)

Keenan Bertha J. (Nagle) "Sweetie" Webster: Passed away holding hands with her children on October 14, 2016, one day short of her 90th birthday. Bert is predeceased by Jim, her loving husband of 68 years, her parents Louis and Catherine (Warner) Nagle, brothers; Lewis (Mae) and Robert (Celia) Nagle, brothers-in-law, T. Henry (Dolly) Keenan, Charles E. Keenan; sisters-in-law, Violet (Samuel) Thompson, Jeanne (Marshall) Keenan and Doris Keenan. Bert is survived by her children , James (Christine) Keenan, Karen Lovrecich, Christine (Neal) Evans, Thomas Keenan, grandchildren whom she adored, Elizabeth Knopp, Sarah (Thomas) Moore, Daniel (Amanda) Keenan, Kelsey (Michael) Fink, David Evans, Timothy Keenan, Brett Keenan, Nicole Keenan, great-grandchildren who were the light of her life, Lillian Knopp, Benjamin Knopp, Alexander Moore and Nicholas Moore; brother-in-law M.Roy (Jean) Keenan, sisters-in-law Joanne (Ora) Rothfuss and Mary Keenan, many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. "Sweetie" , as she was labeled by her grandchildren, could light up a room with her smile. She was a devoted, loving friend, mom, sister, cousin, aunt, grandma and great-grandma who knew how to make everybody feel special. Please think of Sweetie the next time you see a beautiful sunset over Lake Ontario as that was her and Jim's favorite way to end each day.
