Obituary of Eugene D. Gianforti

Gianforti, Eugene D. Irondequoit: October 3, 2015 at the age of 81. Predeceased by parents, Joseph and Josephine Gianforti; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Teresa Gianforti. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Stephanie; children, Marc (Judy Silvestrone), Susan (Dennis) Greco, Carla Biuso, Joseph Gianforti (Marie Gianforti); proud grandfather of Eugene, Albert (Min) Gianforti, Brian (Andrea) Greco, Melissa Greco Lopes (Thiago Lopes), Anthony, Casey Biuso, Sophia, Olivia Gianforti; great-granddaughter, Isabella Greco Lopes; brother, Charles Gianforti; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Nina (Donald) Varrenti, Gerald DiLaura, Jean Cray, Jacqueline (Sam) Ferrara; many nieces and nephews. Gene was a graduate of Aquinas Institute and St. John Fisher College. After retiring from Prudential Insurance Co. he enjoyed golf, cards and school sports, especially when he his grandkids were participating. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Gene's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their care, concern and warmth during his illness. On Thursday October 8th family and friends will meet at St. Jerome's Church (East Rochester) for his Funeral Mass at 9:30AM. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park.
