Obituary of Peter R. Stahl MD

Stahl, Peter R. MD Webster: On March 23, 2015. He grew up in Greece, attended Aquinas and then went on to Notre Dame, a school that he wanted to attend since he was 8 years old. He started out in engineering but changed to pre-med after he observed his roommate volunteering at a medical event. He completed his medical degree from the New Jersey School of Medicine. After he earned his medical degree he went on to obtain a specialty in Hematology and Oncology from the U of R. He was a dedicated physician with a practice in Irondequoit for almost 40 years. He had many loves: spending time with his family, his profession, racquetball, reading, day trading, vacationing in the Finger Lakes, Florida, and a good Manhattan. He was an avid sports fan especially anything having to do with Notre Dame. He enjoyed golf immensely and after a long day caring for his patients, would swing his golf club to relax. He is survived by his loving wife, Suzie; his children, Tom (Nancy), Ted, Kaly (Chris) Tette, Eric and Beth; his sisters, Nancy (David) LaCava and Janet (Richard) Wehner; his grandchildren, Olivia, Hannah and Nathan Tette, Henry, Ruth, Owen and Sevi Stahl; also many nieces, nephews & cousins. Calling hours, FRIDAY 4-8 PM at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Rte. 250, Webster). On SATURDAY, family and friends are asked to go directly to Holy Spirit Church (Plank Rd @ Hatch Rd.) for the celebration of his Funeral Mass at 11 AM. In honor of his memory, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project. He was deeply moved by the dedication of our armed services and wanted to support soldiers injured protecting our county.
